Lisa Moore Ramée
Lisa Moore Ramée is the author of A Good Kind of Trouble, Something to Say, Mapmaker, and the upcoming The Everybody Experiment. She wrote her first book in second grade and grew up surrounded by stories, devouring everything from fantasy to romance in a house filled with books. Her love of storytelling eventually led her to earn an MA in English Literature, where she discovered that her words didn’t have to stay hidden. Inspired by her own experiences as a Black girl navigating identity and friendship in predominantly white schools, Lisa writes heartfelt, character-driven novels that speak to the real questions young people face. She now lives in Northern California with her husband, two kids, a large cat, and a wild yard she’s still trying to tame.
